Is Harrogate Community Radio Carbon Neutral?

How can a radio station work towards environmental sustainability? Especially if it is an internet radio station? Can the two meet and co-join in a tree-planting utopia? Can it be done? In this section, I am going to write how Harrogate Community Radio are working towards becoming carbon-neutral and offsetting the damage caused by human activity on our environment. But, between us we have spent decades (hundreds?) of years as environmental activists, researchers & campaigners.

So, a carbon-neutral radio station; can such a thing be achieved? Can the organisation be labelled as Carbon-Neutral? Harrogate Community Radio does not exist in a bubble and we have environmental obligations as entertainers in the community. 

We are trying to lead the way in bringing environmentally conscious media to Harrogate. Yes, the off-setting technology is still developing. But, it is developing at pace and we are keeping up with the crest of the wave. When a new method of reducing our footprint is revealed, we will be present.
